Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates in Avondale, AZ to join a safety‑minded, outgoing team. The role offers a competitive wage and a broad benefits package for full‑time employees. Expect a steady schedule with early hours and opportunities to grow within the company.

Responsibilities include staging, sorting, packing, labeling, and inventory tasks across a warehouse environment. A high school diploma is preferred, and forklift experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Safety conscious with a pleasant, outgoing attitude for warehouse work.
• Willingness to excel in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• No prior stand-up forklift experience required but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately stage and sort products for loading.
• Sort and place parts in racks or other designated areas.
• Stack cardboard boxes and pallets.
• Move materials within the warehouse.
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with information.
• Read work orders or instructions to determine tasks and needs.
• Read and store perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.
• Fulfills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distributes items.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets or shelves.
• Verify BOLs and POs.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.

Job Responsibilities:

• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required


• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required


• Flexible to work overtime preferred


• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required


• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
