Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC in Marion, OH is hiring warehouse associates for a 3rd shift role. You will scan labels, stage and sort products, maintain a clean and safe area, and move materials within the warehouse.

Requires detail orientation and ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally. Salary starts at $18.68 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential and a strong benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO and a $1,500 retention bonus.

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking, organizational skills and time management required.
• Flexible to work overtime preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs/23kg and up to 100lbs/45kg occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Accurately match numbers & letters.

• Sort and place parts in racks or designated areas.
• Move materials within the warehouse.
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).

We are Looking for Repack workers who will scan labels. Must be detail oriented and be able to lift up to 35 lbs. on a consistent basis.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately match numbers & letters
• Accurately stage and sort products

• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets
• Move materials within the warehouse
• Complies with all safety requirements
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
• Quality control
• Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received
• Complete daily logs
• Communicate with associates from other shifts
• Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
• Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets
• Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
• Uses computer to enter records
• Maintains inventory records
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
