Warehouse Worker - Night Shift | 7p - 7a

Position Summary

Ensures the smooth, accurate, and consistent flow of materials to and from the staging lanes to support production, receiving, and shipping operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Experience with finished goods put-away and warehouse inventory management.
• Safely transport and store finished product in designated warehouse locations using established inventory procedures.
• Determine and assign appropriate storage locations for finished product to maximize warehouse space and accessibility.
• Verify barcode label and product information match to ensure inventory accuracy and traceability.
• Consolidate warehouse inventory by reorganizing product and combining partial pallet locations to optimize storage capacity.
• Stage and prepare warehouse locations, to support the next shift's production requirements.
• Transfer finished goods from production to warehouse storage while maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Complete inventory transfer system transactions when moving product between locations.
• Operate forklifts safely to transport, stack, retrieve, and store finished product in warehouse racks.
• Use hand-held scanners to complete inventory transactions, locate product, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by removing banding, shrink wrap, pallets, and other debris throughout the shift.
• Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and warehouse organization to maintain efficient product flow.
• Use computer systems to generate production schedule, print labels, and complete warehouse transactions.
• Communicate with production and warehouse team members to ensure quality standards are met and product is moved efficiently and timely.
• Assist with order processing in the warehouse department.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and warehouse procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED; required.
• Previous warehouse experience and/or shipping experience; required.
• Well organized, forward-thinker, good communicator.
