Job summary

Glazer's Beer and Beverage in Odessa, TX is seeking a Warehouse Worker to move inbound and outbound product efficiently through the facility for delivery. You will handle receiving, processing, storing and shipping according to purchase orders and schedules, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Your day-to-day includes forklift operation, pallet building, restocking, inventory counts, and collaboration with the team to meet performance benchmarks while maintaining a clean, organized warehouse

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or experience required.
• Six months warehouse experience required.
• Knowledge of operating a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check in merchandise from inbound shipments and compare to purchase orders or documents.
• Fill case and bottle orders for products.
• Load delivery trucks and outbound shipments of billed orders.
• Restock daily bottle and case inventory sold.
• Participate in inventory counts as directed.
• Understand and adhere to safety rules and requirements in the workplace.
• Report safety issues promptly and attend safety meetings as needed.

We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Worker to join our Team! In this role you will be responsible for moving inbound and outbound product efficiently and effectively through the warehouse for delivery. This position will be responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules.

Our Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education and experience
• Six months experience working in a Warehouse
• Knowledge of operating a forklift

Our Preferred Qualifications

• Planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments
• Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems
• Familiar with modern warehousing practices and methods

Your Responsibilities

• Receive and check in merchandise from inbound shipments compare to purchase orders or other documents
• Fill case and bottle orders for products

• Participate in inventory counts as directed
• Understand and adhere to the safety rules and requirements in the workplace
• Ensure warehouse equipment service needs, safety needs, workplace accidents, and other safety issues are reported promptly
• Attend safety meetings, and take safety classes, as needed
• Responsible for filling out equipment report before usage
• Responsible for meeting operational efficiency goals and benchmarks

Order Selector Skills

• Forklift and Riding Jack Skills
• Loading Truck Skills
• Lift and push more than 50 lbs. Operate other warehouse equipment, as needed
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

You must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipment. The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (8-10-12 hours).
