Job summary

Johnson Brothers Maverick of Texas is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our growing Texas distribution team. You will handle inbound/outbound freight, use scanning systems, and ensure accurate inventory.

This full-time role offers a strong benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid holidays, and PTO, with a $20.00/hr starting wage and a Sun–Thu 2PM–10PM shift.

Qualifications

• Basic forklift operation and safety understanding.
• Experience with warehouse processes and inventory control.
• Ability to work with scanning devices and warehouse software.

Responsibilities

• Complete forklift certification program.
• Put away inbound pallets in racked and bulk locations.
• Replenish locations for selection.
• Utilize Warehouse Management System with barcode scanning to locate products.
• Assist with order selection and cleanup as directed.
• Process receiving, picking and transfers to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Safely operate manual/power equipment and load/unload products.
• Inspect product quality before shipping.
• Review orders for shipment accuracy.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
• Record breakage and assist with cleanup.
• Maintain housekeeping as directed.

Job Description

• Complete our forklift certification program
• Put away inbound pallets of freight in both racked and bulk locations
• Replenish locations for selection
• Utilize Warehouse Management System bar code scanning system to accurately account for and locate product
• Order selection and cleanup activities as directed
• Issue, receive, pick, and transfer product to maintain accurate inventory
• Safely operate and utilize manual and power equipment
• Loading and unloading of product in an efficient and safe manner
• Check product and packaging for quality purposes prior to shipping
• Reviews orders for shipment to ensure accuracy
• Other warehouse duties and activities as assigned
• Properly recording breakage and clean-up of breakage
• Housekeeping as directed by supervisor
• Other Job Duties: Complete end of shift responsibilities such as palletizing, returns, replenishment cases or bottles, and cleanup activities as directed

• 2 + years related experience

• Ability to find a solution for or deal proactively with work-related problems

Safety Overview

Ability to perform job duties as instructed by process and follow rules and regulations pertaining to the warehouse and all equipment safety regulations.

The use of cell phones strictly prohibited in the warehouse, phones can be used during break and lunch periods outside of normal work areas.
