Gannett Publishing Company in New Castle, DE, is hiring part-time Warehouse Workers to operate on a seven-day schedule with weekend shifts starting at 8:00 am. The role offers a $15.00 hourly wage and a $500 sign-on bonus, with 16–29 hours available per weekend.

Responsibilities include feeding preprints, monitoring inserting equipment, handling 10–50 lb bundles, and keeping the work area clean. High safety awareness and flexibility are required.

Competenze

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Employees must have a high degree of safety awareness.
• Above-average problem-solving skills necessary to monitor and repair automatic inserting and collating equipment.
• Requires physical dexterity to lift and move material. Must be able to stand for long periods and must be able to lift or pile newspaper products that vary in weight from 10 to 50 pounds or more at one time.
• Must be able to change work assignments on short notice and be flexible in scheduling.
• The position requires working in production areas while forklifts, pallet jacks, inserting, and related equipment are in use.

Gannett Publishing Company, located in New Castle at The News Journal has immediate openings for part-time Warehouse Workers available to work day shift Monday-Friday.

Operating on a seven-day workweek, we are seeking dependable candidates to work 16 to 29 hours per weekend. You must be able to work a shift starting at 8:00 am.
