Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking a warehouse associate in Avondale, AZ. The role requires staging, sorting, loading, and moving materials within the warehouse to support accurate order fulfillment.

The position offers pay of $21.68/hour plus $1.00/hour shift differential, with two schedules (Thu-Mon 1:00PM-9:30PM or Fri-Tue 1:00PM-9:30PM). Benefits include PTO, medical/dental/vision, life insurance, 401(k) and boot allowance after 90 days.

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work independently with good time management and organization.

Responsibilities

• Accurately stage and sort products for loading.
• Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas.
• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets and moves materials within the warehouse.
• Reads work orders or instructions to determine tasks and material needs.
• Packages or kit finished products for shipping and attaches identifying information.
• Complies with all safety requirements and company policies.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Description

• Accurately stage and sort products for loading
• Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas

• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
• Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production

workers or assembly line

• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or

shipping department

• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
