Olympia is hiring for a Warehouse Worker in our Newton, MA area with a full-time schedule Monday through Friday plus alternating Saturdays. Competitive hourly pay starts at $20.00–$26.00 per hour based on experience, with a $1,800 sign-on bonus after meeting program criteria.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Load and unload 3rd party inbound & outbound shipments.
• Complete warehouse forms to track customers storage.
• Sweep and maintain a clean work space.
• Learn and adopt best practices regarding inventory control.
• Assist customers in vault access as needed following prescribed process and safety requirements.
• Ability to cover for shipping/receiving manager and warehouse manager as needed.

Compensation And Benefits

• Competitive hourly wages starting at $20.00- $26.00 per hour based on experience. Eligible for an $1,800.00 Sign On Bonus after meeting program criteria.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have reliable transportation to branch location

• Must be willing to undergo a criminal background investigation

• Solid work history with industry experience and/or transferable skills
• Ability to lift 50-75+ pounds regularly
• Ability to be on your feet 6 to 10 hours a day
• Must be a team player and ready to tackle any challenge
• Available for on-time early a.m. schedule at either Watertown, Holbrook or Mansfield locations
• High school or GED equivalent preferred

As a Warehouse Worker we would expect the individual to be trained and then be able to do the following:

• Load and unload 3rd party in-bound & out-bound shipments
• Complete warehouse forms to track customers storage
• Sweep and maintain a clean work space
• Learn and adopt best practices regarding inventory control.
• Assist customers in vault access as needed following prescribed process and safety requirements.
• Ability to lift items of varying weights and requesting assistance of those items weighing 50 lbs or more
• Bailer operation and forklift operations training and certification will be provided
• Ability to cover for shipping/receiving manager and warehouse manager as needed.
• Individuals in warehouse are also expected to have knowledge of all mover responsibilities including packing, wrapping, materials identification and use and proper lifting, pushing, pulling and moving techniques where safety is a priority.
