Job summary

Gates Corporation, located in Brandon, SD, is seeking a Warehouse Personnel to join our production support team. You will receive raw materials, package and ship hoses, operate forklifts, and maintain inventory in a fast-paced, high-volume plant.

This role requires lifting up to 65 lbs, reliable attendance, and the ability to read and follow English instructions. You will work evenings, 2:00pm–10:00pm, with overtime as needed, and contribute to safety, quality, and timely deliveries.

WHAT TO EXPECT

As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located in our Brandon, SD plant, you will be a Warehouse personnel.

As a warehouse personnel, our distribution center works closely with our production plant. We specialize in the warehousing and shipping of Gates finished hydraulic hoses and their various parts.

Key responsibilities (to name a few):

• Receive raw materials and deliver them to production
• Package and ship finished hoses, marked with the Gates logo, to customers worldwide.
• Handle inbound shipments, process outbound orders, complete paperwork, fill orders, operate forklifts, and maintain inventory.
• Work collaboratively to support safety, productivity, and the delivery of high-quality products.
• Consistently demonstrate safe work habits and adhere to all safety requirements.
• Inspect materials visually and physically to ensure compliance with established standards
• Plan, evaluate, set up, and operate necessary equipment while verifying compliance
• Utilize scanners and internal production systems efficiently.

ABOUT YOU

• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal English instructions throughout all processes.
• Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance is essential for this role.
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week, plus overtime as needed.
• Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting, up to 65 lbs.
• Basic proficiency in reading, math, computer usage, and measurement skills required.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with a strong understanding of and commitment to collaborative manufacturing processes.
• Willingness to support team members, step in as needed, and share knowledge for cross-training purposes.
