Job summary

My Auto Store is seeking a highly detail-oriented Warehouse Worker First Shift to join our team in West Deptford Township, NJ. You will perform quality control on car parts, prepare them for distribution, and support general warehouse operations. This is a union position which pays $19.98hr.

The shift will be Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. Candidates must stand for long periods, lift up to 75 pounds, and work well with others.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
  • Dismantling or automobile experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control inspections on car parts to identify defects and ensure quality.
  • Clean and prepare car parts (bumpers, doors, etc.) for storage or shipment.
  • Organize and store parts and materials in designated areas.
  • Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts, maintain stock rotation.
  • Communicate effectively with management about concerns or improvements.
  • Collaborate with team to support daily warehouse operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse through routine cleaning tasks.
  • Follow safety regulations and use PPE as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform quality control inspections on car parts, identifying any defects, damage, or wear to ensure high standards of quality.
  • Clean and prepare car parts, such as bumpers and doors, for proper storage or shipment.
  • Organize and store car parts and materials in designated areas for easy access and efficient retrieval.
  • Assist with physical inventories, cycle counts, and ensure proper stock rotation.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding any concerns, issues, or ideas for improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to support daily warehouse operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by performing routine cleaning and organizational tasks.
  • Follow safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all tasks.
  • Must have dismantling and/or automobile experience.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 pounds as needed.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to perform occasional bending and kneeling as part of the job.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a clean, safe, and productive warehouse.
Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required.
