Job summary

Penske Logistics in Reno, NV is seeking a Warehouse Dock Associate to join a safety‑minded team. You will stage and sort products for loading, load and unload trailers, open dock doors, and keep a clean, safe work area while following all site rules.

The role offers a stable daytime schedule, a $24.25 per hour base wage, and comprehensive benefits. No prior warehouse experience is required, though reliable attendance and the ability to follow directions are essential.

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work independently; customer service, multi‑tasking, organizational, flexible, and strong time‑management skills required.
• Flexible to work overtime preferred.
• Ability to work in non‑climate‑controlled conditions required.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
• Willingness to work the required schedule at the specific location.
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit for background investigation (past employment, education, criminal history) and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

Physical Requirements

• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lb (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lb (45 kg).
• Must stand, walk, sit, reach and use hands frequently.
• Must be able to see, read, understand instructions, and verbally communicate.
• Must maintain a constant state of alertness and provide for the safety of self and others as this position is designated safety sensitive.
