Job summary

American Furniture Rentals is seeking a Warehouse Specialist for our Arlington, Texas location. The role covers all duties related to incoming and outgoing merchandise during warehouse operations, ensuring accurate paperwork and safe handling of products.

You will unload/load trucks with a scan gun, manage NAV documentation, perform inventory prep, operate forklift and pallet jack, and maintain an orderly workspace while following safety procedures. Prior warehouse experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Unload/Load trucks using a scan gun.
• Compare driver’s paperwork to NAV.
• Check NAV to ensure all has been collected – if not search offload.
• Post all collections and deliveries.
• Confirm all paperwork and pickups via Logistics Dashboard.
• Touch Up and reclass merchandise in warehouse.
• Lift carry and place product into and take out of racks.
• Inspect merchandise for damages or breakage prior to shipment or warehouse storage.
• Record all merchandise discrepancies on appropriate paperwork.
• Complete inventory preparation for warehouse stock.
• Stage merchandise to prepare for shipment as needed.
• Fill customer order in accordance with Pick Tickets, complete appropriate paperwork, and place a copy with the merchandise for shipment.
• Scan all orders and print pre-shipment paperwork as appropriate
• Operate forklift, palette jack and hand trucks.
• Always maintain a neat and orderly workplace
• All warehouse personnel are required to sweep up and remove / dispose of debris.
• Follow safety procedures in accordance with training, and report any dangerous conditions to management immediately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned
