Nippon Express USA is seeking a Crate Assembler in Newport News, VA, to support the crating department by measuring, assembling, packaging, and labeling crates in a warehouse environment. Salary Range

Min:$20.12/hour

Max:$21.94/hour

Perform product functions, including measuring, cutting, assembling, packing, reporting, marking, etc. to meet company quality, safety, security, and productivity standards.

• This position will interact with all levels of employees at the branch, including colleagues, leadership staff, and office personnel.

Work Environment

• This position requiresphysical demands to include, but not limited to standing, walking, sitting, bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, and carrying heavy objects repeatedly.
• Warehouse environment may be noisy and subject to varying temperatures.
• Will work alongside drivers who are moving pallets on different types of forklifts.
