Job summary

Altium Packaging in Sparta, TN is hiring for a warehouse position. You will unload trucks, store materials, transfer finished goods, and assemble boxes. The role requires basic math and computer skills, and involves operating a forklift while ensuring safety standards are met.

You will participate in inventory, fulfill customer orders, and assist production lines. Overtime may be required during busy periods; a comprehensive benefits package accompanies the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic mathematical skills are required.
• Basic computer experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and store raw materials in designated areas.
• Drive forklift and load trucks with finished products.
• Transfer and store finished products in the warehouse.
• Repack damaged containers and keep storage area in proper order.
• Assist in inventory of raw materials and finished goods; fill customer requisitions and shipment orders.
• Assemble boxes and cartons and hand-pack materials as needed.
• May prepare materials for grinding process and keep production lines supplied with raw materials.
• Overtime may be required due to business needs.
