Job summary

Amarr Garage Doors, part of ASSA ABLOY, is seeking a warehouse team member in Chesapeake, VA. You will unload and inspect incoming product (50–75 lb), stage and load for customers, and make deliveries in a 26' box truck while meeting MVR requirements.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and one year of driving experience. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm, with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license.
• One year of driving experience.
• Ability to perform heavy repetitive lifting (50–75 lb).
• Must be able to pass all DOT requirements, including physical.

This is a physically demanding job with consistent heavy lifting in a non-climate controlled environment. Please only apply if you are comfortable working in those conditions.

In this position you will:

• Unload and inspect incoming product (this can be between 50-75lb) mostly by hand

• Pull, stage, and load product for customers, while providing excellent service

• Provide deliveries in a 26' box truck as needed (must be able to meet MVR requirements)

The Details:

This position is full-time Monday - Friday from 7:30am - 4:00pm with the occasional overtime. The pay rate is $22-27 based on, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications. Additional compensation can include driving bonuses and target bonuses.
