Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain in Olive Branch, MS is hiring a Warehouse Worker to receive, move, store, and ship product accurately while upholding safety and quality standards. You will use RF terminals to pick, scan, and package orders, load and unload goods, and maintain orderly inventory records.

0–2 years in a warehouse is preferred; familiarity with WMS and RF equipment helps. Monday–Friday shifts offer competitive pay, benefits from day one, and growth opportunities within a large logistics network.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick products per order specifications.
  • Load and unload products onto/from vehicles or pallets.
  • Prepare products for shipment and ensure correct item counts.
  • Perform picking and packing to meet service standards.
  • Use RF terminals for picking, quality, inventory and shipping tasks.
  • Maintain neat, clean, and orderly work area.
  • Keep accurate inventory records and participate in cycle counts.

Job description

Pay: $18.50 per hour

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm

Location: Forrest Park Drive, Olive Branch, MS

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for the accurate receiving, moving, storing, and shipping of product to meet company standards of safety, security, and productivity. This position is responsible for product safety, quality, legality, and integrity.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Accurately select product according to customer order specifications.
  • Load and unload product onto or from delivery vehicles, pallets, etc.
  • Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
  • Perform picking and packing duties efficiently to meet customer service standards.
  • Utilize Radio Frequency (RF) terminals for functions including picking, quality, inventory, and shipping.
  • Determine product destination by scanning packages, reading labels and charts, verifying numbers, and sorting accordingly.
  • Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
  • Keep accurate records and reports to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Participate in physical inventories and cycle counts.
  • Check or count products for accuracy and damage or infestation.
  • Learn responsibilities and procedures of other warehouse areas as needed.
  • Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking tasks.
  • May be responsible for operating warehouse and computer equipment.
  • Perform work in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education / Experience
  • 0–2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Radio Frequency (RF) equipment preferred.
  • Strong sense of urgency and flexibility in meeting deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer service driven.
  • Strong team player.
