OLM Food Solutions in Sioux Falls, SD is hiring a full-time warehouse worker (Material Handler). Hours are 8am-6:30pm Monday-Thursday, with starting pay of $20/hr. You will support shipping and receiving to maintain the smooth flow of distribution.

As a team member, you will pick orders, load trucks, relocate inventory, stage materials, and perform safety checks. Must have a HS diploma and 6 months warehousing; OT may be required. Benefits include Health, 401k, ESOP, PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of warehouse or distribution experience.
• Ability to work scheduled hours and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders from stock and place on pallets.
• Load trucks and verify orders for accuracy.

• Unload trailers and return pallets to storage.
• Perform safety and equipment inspections as required.

OLM Food Solutions is taking applications for a full-time warehouse worker(Material Handler) in their Sioux Falls, SD location. Hours are 8 am - 6:30 pm, Monday - Thursday. Starting pay is $20/hr.

Position Purpose:

Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company’s success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards. As a warehouse worker, you will support the shipping and/or receiving functions activities within our warehouse.

The material handler is a member of a team that maintains warehouse stock that is received, inventoried and distributed as instructed.

Essential Functions

• Must be able to pick customer orders from stock and place the items on a pallet.
• Must have the ability to load the truck with product and understand the importance of verifying and checking the order.
• Relocate inventory to the appropriate place prior to loading the trucks.
• Stage material for orders.
• Put pallets away after unloading trailers.
• Complete mandatory inspection of trailer prior to loading.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Complete a safety inspection of equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
