Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets in Rochester, NY is seeking a warehouse employee to accurately select cases and build pallets for store delivery, keeping shelves stocked and meeting customer demand in a fast-paced environment.

You will operate forklift, pallet jack, and Vocollect, lift 20–25 pounds with occasional loads over 50 pounds, and contribute to a safe, efficient team focused on quality and on-time groceries delivery.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 20–25 pounds, with occasional loads over 50 pounds.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and stack pallets to ensure product protection and safe delivery
• Safely operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, Vocollect)
• Effectively communicate with management and the team
• Lift 20–25 pounds, with maximum weight lifted greater than 50 pounds occasionally to frequently

• Comprehensive safety training for new employees, delivered by dedicated professional trainers
