Job summary

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Stand-Up and Sit-Down Forklift Operator for a client site in Philadelphia. The role requires operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts, loading and unloading goods, and ensuring accurate inventory movements using RF scanners.

Benefits are provided, and employees join the union upon hire. You will work the 3rd shift, Monday through Friday, from 12:00am to 8:00am, with overtime and weekend opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience operating stand-up forklifts.
• Forklift certification and ability to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to perform basic computer tasks.
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English for professional needs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends.
• Excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Stack and unstack large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets.
• Secure loads to the machine and transport within the facility.
• Scan materials with an RF scanner for inventory purposes.
• Process distribution orders using JDE and courier software for dispatch.
• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Record material movements manually and electronically.
• Support staging, issuance and delivery of work orders for production.
• Perform quality control to ensure undamaged products are sent out.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards; follow cGMP and GCP policies.

Position Title: Stand-Up Forklift Operator Wage: $22.00 per hour Shift: 3rd Hours: Monday through Friday; 12:00am - 8:00am

Stand-Up andSit-Down Forklift Operator Responsibilities:

• Stack and unstack large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets
• Secure loads to the machine to ensure operational efficiency and transport to different locations within the facility
• Correctly scan materials with an RF scanner for inventory purposes
• Process distribution orders for site or depot shipments. This includes the picking, packaging and shipping of supplies using both JDE and courier software for dispatch
• Maneuver a forklift (either a standard electric \"sit down\" fork truck or a double reach \"stand up\" material handling truck), electric pallet jack, and other material handling equipment safely, expediently, skillfully, while transporting full or partial pallet loads of material throughout the plant, and into/out of rack fixtures
• Accurately record, both manually and electronically, the movements of material
• Perform the staging, issuance and delivery of work orders for commercial production
• Perform quality control, ensuring that only undamaged products are sent out
• Adhere to housekeeping and safety management standards
• Adhere to cGMP and GCP policies, procedures, rules

Stand-Up andSit-Down Forklift Operator Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• At least one year of experience operating stand-up forklifts
• Forklift certification and the ability to drive a sit-down and standup forklift
• Basic mathematical skills
• Ability to perform basic computer tasks and has the ability to operate common computer programs
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where there is only limited standardization
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions that may be provided in various forms
• Ability to lift routinely, up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work overtime and/or weekend work
• Excellent attendance

Mandatory Requirements:
