Job summary

LKQ Corporation is seeking motivated individuals for warehouse roles in Philadelphia. You will handle shipping/receiving, process incoming stock, and pick/pack orders for distribution.

The job requires forklift/PIT equipment experience, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to follow established procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining organized stock areas, loading/unloading, and complying with safety policies.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prior forklift, order picker, or PIT equipment experience.
  • Basic math and computer literacy are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Shipping and receiving duties across the warehouse.
  • Process incoming stock and materials and prepare orders for picking.
  • Pick and fill orders, pack and ship goods to customers or staging.
  • Maintain organized stock areas and assist with cycle counts.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks according to safety procedures.
  • Receive inbound products and place them into designated locations.
  • Adhere to company policies and safety rules at all times.

Essential Job Duties
  • Shipping and/or receiving duties.
  • Processing incoming stock and materials.
  • Picking and filling orders from stock.
  • Packing and shipping orders.
  • Managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
  • Operating manual/powered equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc.
  • Receive and put away inbound product to designated location.
  • Pick/pull correct product from the appropriate locations and deliver to staging area/delivery truck.
  • Operate a manual/powered equipment to transport product in and about warehouse.
  • Sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
  • Maintain orderliness and housekeeping of assigned work areas.
  • Comply with established company policies and procedures.
  • Assume other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Not responsible for supervising employees.

Minimum Requirements
  • Up to 1 year of work related experience.
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Warehouse, or similar, work environment, prior PIT (forklift, order picker, etc) experience.

  • Warehouse work environment, prior forklift or order picker experience.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Basic messages communicated orally.
  • May write brief messages and keep simple records.
  • Problems encountered are simple, repetitive, and generally solved by clear directions and procedures.
  • Follows standard procedures with no decision making involved.
  • Uses guidance/guidelines provided by supervisor/manager.
  • Assignments/priorities provided by supervisor/manager.
Essential Physical Demands / Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit for extended periods of time. The employee may be exposed to hazardous situations, conditions, and equipment. Must be able to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles that may require getting into awkward positions. May regularly wear personal protective equipment (PPE). May be exposed to extreme temperatures and high noise levels. Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements). Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
