LE044 New Southern Food Distributors, Inc. is seeking a hard-working warehouse associate to assist in warehouse operations. Responsibilities include receiving, labeling, storing incoming shipments, and maintaining inventory records. We are looking for a hard‑working warehouse associate to help us in our warehouse. The warehouse worker is responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping a concise record of inventory, and accurately filling customer orders.
The employee is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 75lbs. Repetitive hand use is required, including pushing and pulling up to 50lbs, reaching above shoulder. Frequent bending and squatting are required. The ability to endure physically demanding shifts and repetitive tasks is crucial. Successfully passing the Human Performance Evaluation on Lift, Lift‑Carry, Push‑Pull, and Repetitive Posture.
Office and warehouse environment. Occasional periods of standing or sitting for extended periods of time. Required wearing of appropriate PPE. Exposure to hot/cold weather and loud noises in a warehouse environment. Frequent computer and telephone use. Frequent communication with people throughout the day.
