Job summary

LKQ Corp in New Hampshire is seeking a reliable warehouse associate to perform inbound receiving, put-away, picking, and staging tasks. You will operate manual and powered equipment, maintain clean work areas, and ensure accurate handling of parts and supplies in a fast-paced warehouse.

Starting wage is $19 per hour with great benefits after 30 days; a High School diploma and up to 1 year of related experience are preferred, with ability to lift up to 75 pounds and basic math/computer skills

Up to 1 year of work related experience.
High School Diploma/GED is required.
Warehouse or PIT experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

Receive and store inbound product in designated locations.
Pick and deliver to staging area or delivery truck.
Operate warehouse equipment to transport product.
Sort and place parts on racks, shelves or bins.
Maintain orderliness and housekeeping of work areas.
Follow company policies and procedures.
Assume other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Duties

Receive and put away inbound product to designated location.
Pick/pull correct product from the appropriate locations and delivering to staging area/delivery truck.
Operate a manual/powered equipment to transport product in and about warehouse.
Sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
Maintain orderliness and housekeeping of assigned work areas.
Comply with established company policies and procedures.
Assumes other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Not responsible for supervising employees.

Minimum Requirements

Education & Experience

Up to 1 year of work related experience.

Preferred Requirements

High School Diploma/GED.
Warehouse, or similar, work environment, prior PIT (forklift, order picker, etc) experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Basic computer skills.
Basic messages communicated orally. May write brief messages and keep simple records.
Problems encountered are simple, repetitive, and generally solved by clear directions and procedures.
Follows standard procedures with no decision making involved.
Uses guidance/guidelines provide by supervisor/manager.
Assignments/priorities provided by supervisor/manager.

Essential Physical Demands / Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit for extended periods of time. The employee may be exposed to hazardous situations, conditions, and equipment. Must be able to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles that may require getting into awkward positions. May regularly wear personal protective equipment (PPE). May be exposed to extreme temperatures and high noise levels. Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements). Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
