Job summary

Nelson-Jameson, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Worker for our brand-new Fairview, PA facility. You’ll support a fast-paced start-up-style operation with loading/unloading, inventory management, and shipments, using forklifts and related equipment.

We expect reliable, trainable team members who can take direction, learn quickly, and work both independently and with others. Competitive starting pay, onsite schedule, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous warehouse and shipping experience is required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and supervisors.
• Ability to effectively work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and complete required documentation.
• Receive purchase orders and manage put-away processes.
• Print orders and pick lists for shipments.
• Assist with inventory and cycle counts.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment to support daily operations.
• Ensure outbound orders are ship‑ready and properly documented.
• Maintain a clean and orderly facility, including sweeping and dusting.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team at our modern, brand new facility in Fairview, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will play a vital part in continuing the successful rollout of this new location. You'll help keep our facility running smoothly, efficiently, and safely. You'll be responsible for a variety of warehouse duties, including loading and unloading trucks, inventory management, and preparing shipments, while also operating forklifts and other equipment to support daily operations. Success in this role requires more than technical skill: we're looking for someone who can take direction, learn quickly, and hold themselves accountable while contributing to a supportive, hard-working team. Key Responsibilities

Must learn and be proficient in at least four of the first ten bullet points.

• Proficient at completing all necessary documents required for unloading and loading of trucks.
• Accurately receive purchase orders and complete required documentation.
• Accurately use the "put-a-way" process.
• Print orders and pick lists.
• Assist with inventory and cycle counts.
• Print, pick, and ship transfers.
• Accurately pick and prepare products for outgoing shipments to include LTL, small parcel, routes, and customer pick-ups.
• Accurately "ship confirm" and prepare all necessary documents required for outbound orders.
• Assist in keeping the facility clean and orderly, including sweeping and dusting.
• Operate all onsite forklifts that could include turret truck, order picker, deep reach, counterbalance, and pallet jack.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous warehouse and shipping experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and supervisors.
• Ability to effectively work independently and collaboratively

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, and reach with arms.
• Occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 56 lbs., occasionally over 75 lbs., and infrequently push/pull up to 115 lbs.
• Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
