Job summary

Trillium Staffing seeks Warehouse Associates in the Raleigh area to support a busy distribution center. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) with a $21.00/hour pay rate, and a path to direct-hire after about 520 hours.

Ideal candidates are reliable, safety‑minded, and able to work on their feet in a fast‑paced warehouse. Training is available for forklift and picking tasks, with comprehensive benefits upon hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic math and counting skills required for inventory work.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and packing.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming products and verify items before placing them into designated storage locations.
• Pull and prepare products accurately for customer orders and outgoing deliveries.
• Move inventory throughout the facility using pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts, order pickers, and other material‑handling equipment as needed.
• Organize products, parts, and supplies on racks, shelves, and storage bins.
• Prepare orders for shipment and move completed orders to designated staging areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow established safety procedures and workplace guidelines.
• Assist with inventory organization and general warehouse activities as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by warehouse leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or similar experience is helpful but not required.
• Previous forklift, order picker, pallet jack, or other powered industrial truck experience is a plus. Training available.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately handle inventory.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
• Comfortable working around warehouse equipment and normal industrial noise.
• May occasionally work in varying temperatures depending on warehouse conditions.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in designated areas.
• Must be able to follow all applicable workplace safety procedures.
