Job summary

AFP Industries, Inc. in Virginia seeks a warehouse associate to support the warehouse manager with inventory, shipping/receiving, quality control, and kit assembly.

You will pull orders, pack, ship/receive via carriers, and assemble hydraulic hoses and hose kits, while performing cycle counts and keeping the area organized.

A high school diploma is required; you must lift up to 75 pounds and demonstrate strong organizational and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Logistics experience a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Experience with warehouse policies and procedures is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Pull customer orders and pack.
• Ship and receive stock via UPS/FedEx/motor freight/courier.
• Receive stock electronically using business management software.
• Assemble hydraulic hoses and hose kits.
• Perform cycle counting on warehouse inventory.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
• Ensure FIFO inventory control is practiced.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
