US Foods, a leading foodservice provider, is hiring a Night Warehouse Selector to join our distribution network. You will safely and efficiently select and palletize customer orders in a fast-paced environment, using order selecting software and electric pallet jacks.

The role requires reading and communicating in English, 8+ hour night shifts, and experience with large-scale warehouse orders. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including overtime, bonuses, and a retention incentive.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English for trainings, safety, and reporting.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, including Sundays and Thursdays as needed.
• Experience in high endurance or highly physical activity is preferred.
• Experience selecting large-scale orders in a warehouse or DC environment preferred.
• Experience operating motorized pallet jacks or similar equipment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Safely and accurately select customer orders, ensuring correctness and undamaged items.
• Construct and wrap pallets to meet weekly productivity and accuracy standards.
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and operate electric pallet jacks safely.
• Use order selecting software to transfer products from racks to pallets.
• Transport products to the dock and shrink-wrap palletized orders.
• Maintain clean and safe aisles and return equipment to the charging area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Night Warehouse Selector - Position Overview

As a Warehouse Night Selector at US Foods®, you will play a crucial role in our fast‑paced, dynamic environment where speed, agility, and accuracy are key to our success. Your primary responsibility will be to safely and efficiently select and prepare customer orders, ensuring that all products are accurately selected and palletized in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately select customer orders, confirming that selected products are correct and undamaged.
• Construct and wrap pallets to meet weekly productivity and accuracy standards.
• Conduct pre‑shift equipment checks and safely operate electric pallet jacks.
• Transfer products from racks to pallets using order selecting software.
• Transport products to the designated dock area and shrink‑wrap palletized orders.
• Work with the team to maintain clean and safe aisles and return equipment to the charging area.
• Perform all other duties assigned by management.

Physical Requirements

Comfortable working in a multi‑temperature environment ranging from less than 0 degrees to over 100 degrees is required.

Lift, carry, push, pull, and lower 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively; moving 1,000+ cases of product during each shift is required.

Continuously stand, grasp objects & manipulate objects; occasionally sit; frequently walk, drive pallet jack, climb/balance, stoop/squat, kneel/bend, bend, reach above shoulder, twist, & use manual dexterity.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job‑related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday–Thursday; at times weekends and holidays are required.
• Recent experience (within past 6 months) in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred e.g. lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, etc.
• Experience selecting large‑scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
• Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred.

Compensation

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between 27.30 and 28.05.

As applicable, this role may also receive overtime compensation, retention bonus, shift differential, freezer premium.
