Job summary

LKQ Corporation in Boise, Idaho is seeking motivated individuals for warehouse roles including shipping/receiving, stock handling, order picking, and packing. The team operates equipment and maintains orderly inventory while following safety rules and company policies.

Starting pay is $19–$20 per hour DOE with growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package. The position involves team collaboration, safety adherence, and occasional lifting duties in a busy warehouse.

Qualifications

• Up to 1 year of work related experience.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Warehouse environment with PIT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ship/receive, stock processing, order picking, packing and shipping.
• Receive and store inbound product.
• Pick correct product and deliver to staging area or truck.
• Operate manual or powered equipment in the warehouse.
• Keep racks, shelves and bins organized.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• duties aligned with shipping and/or receiving, processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
• Receive and put away inbound product to designated location.
• Pick/pull correct product from the appropriate locations and delivering to staging area/delivery truck.
• Operate a manual/powered equipment to transport product in and about warehouse.
• Sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
• Maintain orderliness and housekeeping of assigned work areas.
• Comply with established company policies and procedures.
• Assumes other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Not responsible for supervising employees.

Minimum Requirements | Education & Experience

• Up to 1 year of work related experience.

Preferred Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Warehouse, or similar, work environment, prior PIT (forklift, order picker, etc) experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic messages communicated orally.
• May write brief messages and keep simple records.
• Problems encountered are simple, repetitive, and generally solved by clear directions and procedures.
• Follows standard procedures with no decision making involved.
• Uses guidance/guidelines provide by supervisor/manager.
• Assignments/priorities provided by supervisor/manager.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit for extended periods of time. The employee may be exposed to hazardous situations, conditions, and equipment. Must be able to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles that may require getting into awkward positions. May regularly wear personal protective equipment (PPE). May be exposed to extreme temperatures and high noise levels. Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements). Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
