City of Albuquerque is seeking a Warehouse Associate to retrieve, store, and deliver materials and files to City departments. The role requires inspecting items for damage, recording inventory, and ensuring proper storage and documentation.
You will assist in disposal of surplus items and support document imaging as needed. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with 30 college credits in related fields and at least two years in a warehouse setting.
Position Summary
Retrieve, store and deliver warehouse materials and files to appropriate City departments; inspect materials for damage and verify shipping documents; ensure proper storage of materials and documents and perform a variety of tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility.

Education and experience directly related to the minimum requirements below may be interchangeable on a year for year basis. High school diploma or GED supplemented by thirty (30) credit hours of college level course work in business, accounting, inventory management, or logistics; and Two (2) years of experience working in a warehouse, central stores operation or parts shop.
Possession of a valid New Mexico's Driver License, or the ability to obtain by date of hire.
Possession of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within 6 months from date of hire.
Warehouse/shop environment; exposure to dust and noise; exposure to computer screens.
Essential and supplemental functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for moderate lifting; climbing, bending and stooping; operating motorized equipment and vehicles.
