Job summary

NorthEast Electrical in Worcester, MA is seeking a Full Time Warehouse Associate to join our growing team. Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Pay rate is $20.00 to $21.00/hour. This role involves loading/unloading trucks, inventory checks, and safe material handling to support customers and projects.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using forklift, pallet jack, or handcart.
• Count, check, prepare, and record items received or shipped.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize, and route material.
• Complete paperwork and data input per procedures.
• Maintain inventory through cycle counts and stock checks.
• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Acquire knowledge of NorthEast policies and participate in training.
• Provide helpful, cooperative assistance to customers and coworkers.

What a typical day looks like in this role:

• Loading and unloading trucks, moving material in a safe manner using forklift, pallet jack, handcart, or other device.
• Count, check, prepare, and record items being received or shipped.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize, and route material for safe delivery or storage.
• Complete paperwork, documentation, and data input in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain inventory through cycle counts and stock checks
• Performs maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Acquire and maintain current knowledge of NorthEast policies and procedures, general product knowledge, participate in training, and attend meetings as requested.
• Act in a helpful and cooperative manner towards customers and coworkers.
• Must acquire a working knowledge of the Eclipse software support system.
