Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. in Reno, NV is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform receiving, inspection, and verification tasks. You will verify items against packing slips, apply barcodes, and handle internal transfers in a fast-paced environment.

You will operate basic powered equipment, stage products, and support cross-functional teams. This role requires lifting up to 75 pounds and compliance with safety standards; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid state driver’s license may be required.
• Willingness to work overtime to meet customer needs.
• Internal certification to operate powered equipment within required timeframes.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Verify packing slips against P.O. numbers with item and vendor details.
• Inspect boxes for damage and packaging issues; resolve discrepancies.
• Create and apply bar code labels and scan into the warehouse system.
• Handle incoming inter-warehouse transfers.
• Operate pallet jack or forklift; move product as needed.
• Stage product for put-away and re-packaging.
• Assist cross-functionally to support business requirements.
• Follow safety guidelines and ensure productivity and quality standards.
