Job summary

Saputo is hiring for a Warehouse Team member in California. You will operate within a production put-away role, rotating through team positions, solving issues, and supporting production goals. Shifts may include days, swings, or nights and weekends, with coverage during vacations and audits.

You should have a high school diploma, 2 years of warehousing experience in food processing, and preferred forklift and SAP familiarity. This role emphasizes safety and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years' prior warehousing experience in a food-processing environment preferred.
• Past or current Forklift certification preferred; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transfer bulk totes from plastic to wood by use of transfer machine.
• Transfer of all finished goods to coolers and dry warehouse storage locations.
• Follow all inventory control practices by utilization of RF units.
• Work closely with line coordinators and tail-off personnel.
• Keep production areas stocked with supplies as needed.
• Follow all verification practices and procedures to ensure accuracy of daily production.
• Maintain cleanliness in and around packaging and storage areas.
• Confers with Supervisor regarding issues impacting warehouse productivity.
• Rotates product to ensure a first in - first out system.
• Performs cycle counts and physical inventory as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Production put away (Line drivers) are responsible for the efficient operation of the Warehouse. As a member of the Warehouse Team, associates will be responsible for rotating between all positions on the Team and will be expected to solve problems, address production difficulties, and perform daily tasks. Team members are expected to achieve production goals by working collaboratively as a team and will be expected to involve other support teams in production issues as appropriate. This can either be days, swing or night shift and includes working weekends. Workdays and shifts may change to help cover vacations/absences, during plant downtime or related events such as audits.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

Pay Range: $29.62 - $33.93
