Utz Quality Foods, Memphis Distribution Center is seeking a Warehouse Utility associate to support our operations team. This role focuses on warehouse operations, inventory management, and merchandising in a fast-paced environment at our Memphis, TN site.

Responsibilities include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and keeping accurate records, along with supporting route deliveries and store merchandising. Proficiency in ERP, Excel, and strong organizational skills are valued.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years warehouse experience preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing warehouse priorities.
  • Forklift/pallet jack experience a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including opening/closing, organization and cleanliness.
  • Inspect, verify and sign load tickets to ensure correct inventory.
  • Receive, store and organize product and keep accurate records.
  • Pick and build pallets for outbound shipments with stable stacks.
  • Manage daily inventory using handheld computer and track orders/returns.
  • Unload inbound trailers and verify trailer load accuracy.
  • Cover open delivery routes when needed using a step van or box truck.
  • Merchandise products in stores, maintain planograms and rotate stock.
  • Assist in training new warehouse team members and support month-end counts.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including opening and closing, product rotation, organization, and cleanliness.
  • Inspect, verify, and sign load tickets for Independent Operators and Distributors to ensure correct inventory.
  • Receive, store, and organize product, keeping everything in excellent condition and accurately accounted for.
  • Pick and build pallets for outbound shipments, making sure stacks are stable and safe for transport.
  • Manage daily inventory using a hand‑held computer and track orders, returns, and stock balances.
  • Unload inbound trailers and verify trailer load accuracy.
  • Cover open delivery routes when needed, driving a step van or box truck to deliver product to customers.
  • Merchandise products in stores, maintaining planograms, rotating stock, and removing outdated items.
  • Assist in training new warehouse team members and supporting month‑end inventory counts.
Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate a route sales delivery step van or box truck.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older and able to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing warehouse priorities.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (D365 experience highly preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic math skills for inventory tracking and management.
  • Ability to make independent decisions, particularly during promotional activity and merchandising needs.
  • Forklift and/or pallet jack experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move light to medium weight products and remain on your feet for extended periods.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required (2+ years of warehouse experience preferred).
