Bass Pro Shops in Springfield, Missouri, seeks a Trainer to onboard and train Outfitters, provide new hire and department-specific training, and ensure safety with power equipment. The trainer will partner with Supervisors to deliver a consistent training message and emphasize customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include keeping detailed training records, cross-training across departments, and performing other duties as required in a fast-paced distribution center environment.
New increased base pay $20/hour 1st and 2nd Shift Opportunities with the ability to earn up to $22.50/hour based on shift.
The Trainer will provide training for Outfitters including, but not limited to: new hire training, department-specific training, MHE & equipment training, cross training, and retraining as required. Outfitter will be cross trained in other departments as needed and may be asked to carry out special projects.

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Must be at least 18 years of age Warehouse equipment experience preferred

Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, i.e. walking, standing, kneeling, bending, stretching, and climbing up and down step ladder for duration of shift and overtime when scheduled. Must be able to repetitively lift, push, pull and carry 50 lbs. for duration of shift and overtime when scheduled.
Required to work indoor in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.
