Job summary

NRI is seeking a Trainer for our Henderson, NV location to develop and deliver training across warehouse functions. You will mentor new hires, uphold SOPs, and foster a positive team atmosphere.

The ideal candidate has 12+ months training experience, bilingual Spanish/English, and proficiency with Microsoft 365. The role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to work Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–3:00 pm at 3591 Volunteer Blvd, Henderson, NV 89044.

Qualifications

  • Must have 12+ months of training experience, preferably in a warehouse environment.
  • Must be proficient with or willing to learn Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint).
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a MUST
  • Must have physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and endure standing/walking for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Provides and coordinates training for a new hire and existing NRI employees to ensure training is delivered and evaluated for consistency.
  • Coach, counsel, and inspire employees to not only meet but exceed required performance metrics.
  • Aids in creating training programs by assessing skill/knowledge gaps and changes in training SOPs.
  • Exhibit and practice positive communications and team-building with trainees.
  • Complies with safety policies and reports unsafe activities.
  • Maintain a training log and all training documentation.
  • Keeps work and storage areas safe, clean, and tidy. Performs other duties as requested.

A Day in the Life

As a Trainer, you will be the face of NRI by training on all functions related to our warehouse team members. The Trainer's focus is delivering outstanding team member experience, best practices, safety, and SOP compliance aid in the development of the training program. The Trainer is to be a mentor to all new employees and helps create and demonstrate NRI team spirit.

The ideal candidate is an accessible and approachable individual who is an active listener and has the creativity to explain topics in a fun and engaging way. This person is patient and can adapt their training delivery style according to how the learners are responding.

The following schedule are available for this role:

Monday - Friday: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm

  • Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., walking and standing for extended periods, climbing ladders/stairs, ok with heights in elevated areas and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc.

  • Coach, counsel, and inspire employees to not only meet but exceed required performance metrics
  • Aids in creating training programs by assesssing skill/knowledge gaps, training objectives, work situations, changes in training SOP’s along with continuous improvement projects
  • Exhibit and practice positive communications and team-building skills with trainees to ensure a consistently professional environment
  • Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to the supervisor or and Safety Manager
  • Maintain a training log and all training documentation
  • Keeps work and storage areas in a safe, clean, and tidy condition at all times
  • Performs other duties as requested
