Nordex Group is hiring a Warehouse Technician in the United States. You will support warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics coordination to maximize turbine uptime and service technician efficiency.

You’ll work with ERP systems (SAP a plus), maintain tooling, and participate in safety initiatives. A high school diploma is required, with travel up to 50% and driving as a core function of the role.

• Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, or material handling.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across multiple teams.
• Former wind turbine service technician experience is a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 25-50% as needed.
• Driving is an essential function; valid driver's license required.

Responsabilités

• Organize and maintain warehouse operations per Nordex standards.
• Receive, inspect, store, and distribute spare parts, tools, and materials.
• Prepare materials for shipment, storage, and field technician use.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through ERP transactions and cycle counts.
• Support inbound and outbound logistics, including inspections and docs.
• Manage warehouse labeling, storage controls, and 5S practices.
• Coordinate defect parts processing, scrap handling, and overstock control.
• Maintain tooling/equipment, including inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Lead daily safety standups and support safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with Material Management and Service Point Management teams.

POSITION SUMMARY

The role of Warehouse Technician directly supports Nordex's mission to develop and deliver clean power plants that make 100% renewable energy a reality for the world. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining warehouse operations with the highest safety and quality standards while supporting field operations through accurate inventory management, material handling, tool control, and logistics coordination. Working closely with Material Management and Operational teams, you will help ensure parts and tools are available when needed to maximize service technician efficiency and turbine uptime.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Organize and maintain warehouse operations according to Nordex standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Receive, inspect, store, and distribute spare parts, tools, and materials.
• Prepare materials and components for shipment, storage, and field technician use.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through ERP transactions and cycle counting activities.
• Support inbound and outbound logistics, including receiving inspections and documentation review.
• Manage warehouse organization using labeling, storage controls, and 5S principles.
• Coordinate defect parts processing, scrap activities, and waste management to prevent overstock and obsolete inventory.
• Maintain tooling and equipment, including inspections and preventative maintenance activities.
• Lead daily safety standups and support warehouse safety initiatives.
• Partner with Material Management and Service Point Management teams to resolve inventory and logistics issues.
• Support other service points and operational locations as needed.

WHAT YOU HAVE

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, or material handling.
• Experience working with ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across multiple teams.
• Former wind turbine service technician experience is a plus.
• Ability to safely perform physical warehouse activities, including receiving, moving, storing, and shipping materials.
• Ability to travel up to 25-50% as needed.
• Driving is an essential function of the job. Must possess a full valid driver's license and be insurable under our auto insurance policy. This position will be subject to periodic driver's abstract checks to confirm continued insurability.
