Job summary

Wabtec is seeking a Warehouse Technician to support receiving, packing, shipping, and light assembly in our Indiana facility. You will work with Oracle and WMS systems, handle order picking, packing, and cycle-counting, and operate forklifts as needed.

The role requires at least 1 year of warehousing experience and 6 months of forklift driving experience, with strong safety and organizational skills. A team environment and daily attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year prior warehousing experience.
• Minimum of 6 months forklift driving experience.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and practices.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with overtime as needed.
• Forklift certification.
• Prior PC experience with Oracle or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Meet job requirements relative to Safety, Productivity, Quality, Attendance and team environment.
• Pack, pick, ship, and perform light assembly as needed.
• Utilize Oracle and Warehouse Management System (WMS) applications.
• Read and interpret pick tickets and packing instructions.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment as required.
• Maintain accuracy in stockkeeping and cycle-counting.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and housekeeping.
