Job summary

Groundworks in Georgia is seeking a Warehouse Technician to support field teams by organizing materials, tools, and equipment to keep jobsites running smoothly.

You will receive, store, and stage materials, coordinate deliveries, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and help ensure site safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• OSHA knowledge and forklift operation preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Ability to drive light commercial vehicles as needed.
• Comfort with navigating computers/tablets and basic software.
• Professional in manner and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution of materials and equipment.
• Maintains cleanliness of the warehouse.
• Ensures the warehouse is properly secured at all times.
• Assists with maintaining the inventory of products in the warehouse.
• Receives materials, unloads trucks, handles materials, breaks down pallets, and organizes materials.
• Organizes inventory area and tool room in the warehouse based on operational best practices.
• Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles issues expeditiously, and follows through to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and various warehouse equipment.
• We work until the job is done right - occasional overtime is required.
• It is an essential function of this job that the employee regularly and reliably reports to work on time each working day.
