Western Container Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle general material movements in a manufacturing setting. You will operate a forklift, load and unload trucks, and maintain inventory control with a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities include preparing shipment documents, coordinating with drivers, and ensuring accurate paperwork. Candidates should have a HS Diploma or GED and be able to pass forklift training. OSHA rules and environmental regulations apply.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required; three years of relevant experience with one employer may substitute.
• Must pass forklift driving training or demonstrate safe forklift handling on-site.
• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team; strong communication.
• Understanding of OSHA and environmental regulations and compliance awareness.

Responsabilités

• Identify and transport materials to and from machines, docks, trucks, and storage areas.
• Prepare Bills of Ladings and verify shipments.
• Inspect and assign drivers to docks; ensure truck cleanliness and compliance prior to loading.
• Track production schedules and shipping orders; transport products accordingly.
• Apply knowledge of loading capacity and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
• Report problems with materials or transportation to the coordinator.
• Manage and stack pallets, bins, and supplies in designated areas.
• Service equipment as needed; report mechanical or electrical issues to Warehouse Manager.
• Complete all paperwork accurately.
• Perform other duties as requested.
