Job summary

ALS Limited in Reno, NV is seeking a Warehouse Technician to support storage, retrieval, and shipping of pulp and rejects samples, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure safety procedures.

You will operate forklift, perform local deliveries, prepare shipments, conduct daily inspections, and train new staff while maintaining data entry records and collaborating with clients. A valid forklift license and 2+ years warehouse experience are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of warehouse and shipping/receiving experience.
• Forklift license and prior forklift operation.
• Grade 12 diploma preferred; valid driver's license with clean record.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; good data entry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare packaging for outgoing shipments of pulp samples and rejects.
• Sort, locate and retrieve pulp and rejects from the warehouse with forklift.
• Accurate data entry and inventory control of sample rejects and pulps.
• Coordinate pulp and reject storage, disposal and return to clients.
• Ensure sample records and supplies are complete and accurate.
• Conduct local deliveries and pickups as needed.
• Oversee maintenance of vehicle inspection logs.
• Conduct inventory counts as requested and provide reports.
• Liaise with clients and respond to inquiries; train new staff.
• Observe safety regulations and follow ALS health and safety policies.
