Job summary

Rinchem Company in Hillsboro, Oregon is seeking a Warehouse Technician to support safe material handling, accurate inventory control, and order fulfillment in a fast-paced facility. You will work closely with drivers, management, and customer service teams to ensure on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction.

You’ll operate forklifts, process paperwork, and maintain software records. The role requires reading safety documents, following procedures, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or College education.
• Forklift experience is preferred (training provided).
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency at the completion of initial training.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a diverse team.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including knowledge of manufacturing software, order processing systems, warehouse management software, and Microsoft Office (Outlook).
• Periodically lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to written work instructions, ensuring accurate and safe execution of tasks.
• Work safely, utilizing all necessary PPE, and promptly report safety or quality concerns to management.
• Perform accurate quality control checks on incoming materials, maintaining high standards of product integrity.
• Convey materials and items from receiving areas to storage or other designated locations.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to size, temperature specifications, type, style, or product code.
• Unload materials, verify paperwork and packing slips, note discrepancies, and distribute items to the designated recipient.
• Assemble paperwork received from customer service and place orders on pallets or designated locations.
• Mark materials with identifying information and verify accuracy.
• Wrap and ship skids securely and efficiently.
• Use computers for inter-company correspondence, download temperature recorder data, and verify temperature control within customer specifications.
• Operate forklifts, trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move, put away, or retrieve materials per safety rules.
• Maintain showroom standards by keeping the service center clean and organized.
• Report items or individuals out of order to management to uphold safety and security.
