Job summary

Daimler Truck North America in Canton, OH is seeking a Warehouse Technician for the KPP Heavy Unitizing - Day Shift. The role focuses on receiving and stocking parts, meeting safety and quality standards, and working with various equipment on a full-time onsite basis.

Key duties include lifting up to 75 pounds, operating forklifts and order pickers, staying in good physical condition, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds frequently.
• Safety and quality commitment.
• Reports to: Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Pick jobs for KPP.
• Move parts up to 75 pounds unassisted while maintaining quality and production standards in Receiving of parts.
• Stooping, bending, twisting and reaching into 48” deep locations to pull or stock truck parts.
• Stand and/or walk 100% of the work schedule.
• Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pick trucks, propane powered lifts, battery changing equipment, conveyors, dock levelers, etc.
• Operate stand-up reach lifts up to 4,000 lbs and man-up order picker up to 22 ft. with 3,000 lbs capacity.
• Maintain housekeeping requirements.
• Communicate effectively with others.
• Work flexible hours.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement (TOS) with ideas for improvement.
