Job summary

The Mennel Milling Company seeks a dedicated team member to support loading, unloading, palletizing and labeling within a fast-paced production environment.

You will follow safety rules, maintain documentation, and work a 12-hour rotating shift including weekends and holidays as assigned.

Candidates should be able to use forklifts, comply with GMP/HACCP and assist in maintaining a clean, audit-ready plant.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write basic paperwork and instructions.
• Ability to operate forklift safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Follow all food safety and personal safety rules and regulations in respect to GMPs, OSHA, HACCP, FSIS and sanitation guidelines; maintain department/facility audit-ready condition.
• Accurately load and unload trucks and complete all required paperwork and inventory moves.
• Operate automatic palletizing equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Operate labeling equipment and ensure production needs are met.
• Maintain and correctly document food safety paperwork.
• Follow PPEs, GMPs, OSHA, HACCP and sanitation guidelines as set forth by the company.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and keep the plant audit-ready.
• Report unsafe conditions or actions to supervision immediately.
• Attend all training sessions as required.
• Other duties may be assigned.

SUMMARY:

This position will sustain the Mission and Motto and Food Safety and Quality Statement of the Mennel Milling Company.

PRIMARY WORK SHIFT:

Works shift as assigned and overtime as required.

Employee will be assigned to a 12-hour rotating shift which includes weekends and potential holiday work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without accommodation.

• Follow all food and personal safety rules and regulations in respect to GMP’s, OSHA, HACCP, the Global Food Safety Initiative, the US FDA Food Safety Modernization Act as stated in the FS&Q Statement, and sanitation guidelines as set forth by the company as listed in Corporate Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) and attend all required training sessions. Maintain the department/facility in an everyday audit ready condition.

QUALIFICATIONS:
