Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC through WECTEC Staffing Services is seeking a Warehouse Technician to support daily operations in our warehouse facility. You will help ensure receiving, storage, and distribution of materials while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient workspace.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and prior warehouse experience; forklift certification is a plus. You will work with team members to meet daily goals and ensure accuracy in inventory records.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution roles preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

About the role:

We are looking for a Warehouse Technician to support daily operations within our warehouse facility. In this hands‑on role, you will help ensure the accurate receiving, storage, and distribution of materials while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
• Organize, label, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment or internal distribution
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
• Support cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to maintain a secure work environment
• Perform general housekeeping tasks to keep the warehouse clean and organized
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals and deadlines

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or warehouse systems
• Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
