Job summary

Mineral Ridge Gold, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Technician to support site operations by receiving, organizing, tracking, and issuing materials for maintenance, processing, construction, and administration teams. You will ensure accurate inventory control and safe handling practices in a remote mining environment.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, inspecting deliveries, entering transactions, labeling and organizing materials, and supporting cycle counts.

Qualifications

  • Requires 1–3 years of warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; forklift certification preferred or required.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use inventory systems and MS Office.
  • Willingness to operate forklifts and to obtain certification if needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial mining setting.
  • Must be able to live and work onsite at a remote mining operation.

Responsibilities

  • Receive shipments, verify against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Enter inventory transactions into tracking systems and label/store materials.
  • Issue tools and consumables to employees; stage materials for maintenance and construction.
  • Support shipping, packaging, and documentation; monitor stock levels and reorder needs.
  • Follow safety policies, MSHA requirements, and maintain hazmat storage when applicable.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, processing, and operations for timely material availability.

Position Summary

The Warehouse Technician supports site operations by receiving, organizing, tracking, and issuing materials, tools, and equipment. This role ensures accurate inventory control, safe handling practices, and timely distribution of supplies critical to maintenance, processing, construction, and administrative teams.

Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Inventory
  • Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Inspect deliveries for damage, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Enter inventory transactions into tracking systems.
  • Label, store, and organize materials appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and support cycle counts.
Material Distribution
  • Issue tools, parts, and consumables to employees and contractors.
  • Stage materials for scheduled maintenance and construction work.
  • Coordinate with departments to ensure timely material availability.
  • Assist with tracking critical spares and long-lead equipment.
Warehouse Operations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.Support shipping activities including packaging and documentation.
  • Monitor stock levels and notify supervisor of reorder needs.
Compliance & Safety
  • Follow site safety policies and MSHA requirements.
  • Participate in safety meetings and inspections.
  • Maintain proper storage of hazardous materials when applicable.
  • Support accurate documentation and audit readiness.
Team Collaboration
  • Coordinate closely with maintenance, processing, construction, and operations teams to ensure timely availability of tools, parts, and materials.
  • Communicate material shortages, delivery delays, and inventory risks proactively to supervisors and requesting departments.
  • Assist coworkers across departments during high-priority operational needs or urgent material requests.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that increase efficiency, organization, and reliability of warehouse operations.
  • Work with procurement to confirm receipt accuracy and resolve discrepancies with purchase orders or shipments.
Qualifications
Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Basic computer skills (inventory systems, Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial environment.
  • Ability to work and live onsite at a remote mining operation.
Preferred
  • Experience in mining, construction, or industrial operations.
  • Familiarity with inventory tracking systems or ERP platforms.
  • MSHA training (or ability to obtain).
  • Experience managing parts rooms or maintenance inventory.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to traverse rugged, uneven mine site terrain, including inclines and unpaved surfaces.
  • Exposure to outdoor conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and dust.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; standing, walking, bending, and equipment operation required throughout shifts.
  • Comfortable wearing required PPE for extended periods, including respirators when necessary.
  • Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
Work Environment

This role operates in an industrial mining environment and works closely with maintenance, processing, construction, and operations teams to keep materials moving. Rotating shifts, weekends, or extended hours may be required during periods of high mining activity.
