Socket.dev is seeking a Warehouse Technician for 1st shift in Moody, Alabama. This role handles receiving, maintaining, handling, repackaging, and shipping materials with strict adherence to work instructions and safety standards.

You will support production goals in a fast-paced, team-driven environment, inspect materials and finished products for quality, organize stock, and document production records with precision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior quality or inspection experience preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, handle, repackage, and ship materials according to written and verbal instructions.
• Follow detailed written and verbal work instructions.
• Maintain accurate and legible production records.
• Meet production rates while maintaining quality.
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality.
• Troubleshoot and perform rework as needed.
• Identify and tag nonconforming materials.

Warehouse Technician – 1st Shift

Location: Moody, AL

Starting Pay: $16.50 an hour

Position Summary

The Warehouse Technician is responsible for accurately and efficiently receiving, maintaining, handling, repackaging, and shipping materials within the warehouse according to written work instructions. This role supports production goals while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and accuracy.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours
• Frequent bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs regularly; up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Work in varying temperatures (climate-controlled to warehouse conditions)
• Exposure to noise, vibration, chemicals, electrical hazards, and sharp tools
• Continuous use of hands/arms with strong eye-hand coordination

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Prior quality or inspection experience preferred
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment preferred
