Job summary

Marvin in Louisville, KY is seeking a Warehouse Technician to own the warehouse, keep materials organized and ready for project managers and field installers, and ensure accurate staging of installation materials.

You will load/unload deliveries, run materials to active sites, manage inventory with Marvin's software, and assist with maintenance and general warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Able to lift, push/pull, and carry at least 50 lbs.
• Comfortable using inventory management software and computers.

Job Overview

As a Warehouse Associate, you'll be the backbone of our operations-keeping our Project Managers and field installers fully stocked with the materials they need to deliver exceptional results for our customers. You'll own the warehouse, ensuring every product is perfectly organized, inventoried, and ready to go when needed. This includes assisting with the loading and unloading of product, moving product to the appropriate organized spaces, assisting with inventory, material runs, and assisting with the preparation and staging of installation materials for projects.

You're organized, take initiative, work hard, and genuinely enjoy making an impact-helping your team succeed motivates you every day.

Highlights of your role

• Efficiently load and unload deliveries, keeping materials flowing smoothly through the warehouse.
• Get parts and supplies where they're needed-make material runs to active jobsites and pick up inventory locally to keep projects moving.
• Organize products strategically, maintain our shipping/receiving area, and collaborate with leadership to optimize warehouse layout and prevent damage-giving you a real voice in how the warehouse operates.
• Assist with inventory, including using Marvin's inventory management software, ensuring accuracy for job site costs and available material in inventory.
• Assist in the building maintenance including but not limited to snow removal, minor building repairs, cleaning etc.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

• Prior experience with construction, remodeling, or window and door products is a plus-but we'll train the right person with the right attitude.
• Prior experience with utilizing inventory management software is preferred.
• Comfortable working with computers and inventory management software-tech skills that make you more efficient.

We also want to make sure you have

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record
• Extended periods of sitting or standing
• Work in a warehouse setting with varying temperatures at times.
• Ability to work occasional overtime.
• Able to lift, push/pull, and carry at least 50lbs.
• Able to stand for at least 6 hours per day.
• Able to climb ladders, scaffolding, and stairs, and ability to kneel.
