The Warehouse Technician supports electric and broadband utility operations by efficiently receiving, storing, and distributing materials and supplies while supporting overall logistics and inventory management processes. Maintains accurate inventory and material records, supports warehouse and logistics activities, and helps ensure crews have the materials needed to perform their work safely and efficiently. R responsible for assisting and providing backup to the Building Maintenance Technician. Performs all work in compliance with safety, health and environmental standards; applicable regulations; and Cooperative policies and work procedures.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; explosives. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. This job occasionally operates in a clerical, office setting. This role occasionally uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
The employee will be required to walk or stand occasionally, use hands, fingers to handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
Periodic travel to state and local destinations, as well as some interstate travel is required.
