Job summary

EmployBridge in Cedar Rapids seeks a Warehouse Associate for 2nd shift (1:00pm-11:00pm, Wed-Sat). Training pay is $20.00/hour, increasing to $21.00/hour after training. Responsibilities include preparing orders, inventory, forklift operation, loading/unloading, and logging materials. Must have a high school diploma and 3–5 years warehouse experience. Occasional offsite work possible.

Physical duty includes lifting ~60 lbs; overtime may be required. Prior RF scan/WMS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders for shipment and complete required paperwork.
• Assist in monthly raw material inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
• Operate forklift and clamp truck safely.
• Load/unload finished goods, transfers, and raw materials.
• Provide support at offsite warehouse locations as needed.
• Log receipts of raw materials and maintain lot records.
• Maintain assigned cleaning zones in the warehouse.
• Operate the baling machine for recyclables.
• Perform other duties and projects as required.

$21.00 once training is complete.

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Technician operates the daily warehouse activities in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices in

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare customer orders for shipment, completing all paperwork as required
• Assist in completion of monthly raw material physical inventory quickly and accurately
• Operate fork and clamp truck safely
• Load and unload all finished products, warehouse transfers, and receive all raw materials
• Provide support as needed in offsite warehouse location(s)
• Log receipts of raw materials into the receiving log, assign and maintain lot numbering records
• Maintain assigned cleaning zones
• Operate the bailing machine for recycle materials
• Execute other responsibilities and projects as required

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in a warehouse environment

Physical Requirements:

• Overtime may be required
• Should be physically able as job includes a certain amount of lifting and moving (~ 60 lbs)
