Werner in Appleton, WI is hiring a Warehouse Teammate for the 2nd shift (3:30 PM - 12:00 AM). You will receive, cut, and stock copper and aluminum wire, conduit and related materials. The role requires basic computer skills, forklift experience a plus, and occasional overtime during peak periods.

Responsabilidades

• Receive incoming copper and aluminum wire shipments and verify quantity and quality.
• Cut wire to specified lengths using wire cutting equipment.
• Receive, inspect, store, and pick electrical materials including conduit, PVC, channel, and cable tray.
• Label, organize, and store materials for easy retrieval.
• Maintain inventory records through WMS transactions and stock monitoring.
• Assist with replenishing inventory and maintain accurate stock levels.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and coilers.
• Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive incoming copper and aluminum wire shipments and verify their quantity and quality.


• Use wire cutting equipment to accurately cut wire to specified lengths, following product specifications.


• Receive, inspect, store, and pick electrical materials including conduit, PVC, channel, and cable tray.


• Ensure proper labeling of tag number, organization, and storage of the materials for easy retrieval.


• Maintain accurate inventory records through WMS transactions including footage marking management.


• Monitor stock levels and assist with replenishing the inventory as needed.


• Inspect wire cuts and materials for quality and accuracy, reporting any defects or discrepancies.


• Maintain a high standard of quality assurance throughout the handling process.


• Prepare materials for outbound shipments including picking, packing, shipping labels, packing lists, and staging.


• Collaborate with the shipping department to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.


• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, coilers, spoolers, compartments, and A-frames.


• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.


• All other duties assigned.
