Job summary

Diageo Lincolnway in Plainfield, IL is seeking a warehouse associate to operate and maintain warehouse processes, including forklift operation, inventory control, and safety compliance.

You will work with cross-functional teams to keep product moving, maintain records, and ensure quality. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, passing forklift qualifications, and holding a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Prior warehouse operating experience.
• Excellent communication skills demonstrated partnership capability and can-do attitude.
• Willingness to work towards forklift qualifications.
• Full driving license.
• PC/Systems skills. SAP knowledge would be an asset.
• Flexibility to adapt to different shift working practices and patterns.

Responsibilities

• Operating warehouse machinery per Standard Operating Procedures.
• Monitoring and controlling the process.
• Identifying and correcting deviations from standard process parameters.
• Reacting to abnormal conditions, breakdowns, and emergencies.
• Maintaining accurate process and inventory records.
• Maintaining a high standard of material and finished goods quality.
